The Better Journeys Project Fund for Schools is a grant initiative that offers schools across the Channel Islands financial assistance and expert guidance to help with cycling infrastructure and solutions.

The goal is to make cycling to school more accessible, convenient, and safe for students of all ages.

The first, 2025/26 fund, offered a grant of up to £3000 in Guernsey and £1500 in Jersey. (The Guernsey figure was bigger because we have received additional funding there.

Applications closed on 10/01/2026. The awards panel reviewed the entries and advise the successful applicants (and un-successful applicants) by 01/02/2026.
