Motonormativity event to hit Jersey in May

Professor Ian Walker will lead the event, organised by The Better Journeys Project as part of Better Journeys Week, at Santander Work Cafe on 23rd May following a very successful event in Guernsey in March 2025

Come and learn about a very specific bias that has been studied by Professor Ian Walker of Swansea University that he has labelled "Motonormativity". The insights are somewhat mind-blowing and I imagine will fuel some significant debate. Booking link released soon, but get it in the diary!

Can addressing motonormativity help promote more inclusive and environmentally friendly mobility solutions and encourage a shift away from car dependency toward diverse, accessible transportation options? Come and find out.
